Candace Owens Interview: Hunter Biden Says Joe Biden Was Never Part of Epstein Class
Hunter Biden used candace owens’ podcast on Thursday to defend Joe Biden and attack Donald Trump. In a nearly 1 hour and 50 minute interview, he said his father was crushed by the “D.C. elite” because he was “never part of the Epstein class.”
He also said he has been “verifiably” sober since 2019 and described the laptop controversy as stolen and hacked material that was misrepresented. The interview moved from family defense to drug addiction, Gaza, and the Epstein files without leaving the podcast format.
Candace Owens Podcast
Owens told Hunter Biden she would not ask him to say anything bad about his father, and she used the word “demonic” during the conversation. Biden answered by saying, “It’s not left or right…You think I’ll defend the D.C. elite of the left, they crushed my dad, because he was never part of that club. He was never part of the Epstein class.”
He repeated the point in a separate line, saying, “He was never part of that club. He was never part of the Epstein class. He lived in Delaware.” Biden tied that claim to his view that Democratic leadership pushed his father out. That made the interview more than a defense of Joe Biden; it became an argument about who belonged inside Washington’s power circles.
Hunter Biden And Trump
Biden also used the interview to attack Trump and the handling of the Epstein files. He said, “you want to figure out why they don't want to release all the Epstein files? All you got to do is literally look at a picture of Trump standing on his stage at his inauguration and look behind him…it's like every single person,” and Owens replied, “He's protecting his donors without question.”
He broadened the criticism to Trump’s public image, saying, “The president of the United States of America has posted images of himself as a king, I think half a dozen times now…when are people going to wake up?” Biden also brought Gaza into the interview, saying, “I think we all can agree is that we need to stop the wholesale murder of a population in Gaza… whatever you think about my father's policy as it relates [to Gaza]…He didn't greenlight to turn Gaza into a Trump golf course.”
Probation, Relapse, And A Loan Claim
Biden said his sobriety has been “verifiably” maintained since 2019 and said he had been randomly drug tested for two years under his probation deal. He said his worst relapse came after the death of his brother Beau Biden, linking the timeline of his addiction to a family loss he described on the show.
He also revisited the laptop dispute, calling it a hard drive of stolen and hacked material that was misrepresented, and said he was prepared to own the fact that he was not a “good guy.” He said leaked photos showed him “smoking crack in a motel room with a prostitute,” a line that shifted the interview back to his own conduct before he moved to other political claims.
Biden then compared government deals involving Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner, saying, “Don Jr. got the single largest loan guarantee from the Department of Defense ever handed out of over $600 million for an energy company, a fusion energy company, of which he has zero experience.” The interview leaves readers with a blunt test of political media boundaries: Biden did not use Owens’ platform to retreat, and he did not limit the conversation to his own past.
