Joanne McNally leads The Celebrity Traitors at 6/1
Joanne McNally is the early favourite to win the celebrity traitors, with William Hill putting the Irish comic at 6/1 to emerge from Ardross Castle. That opening price puts her ahead of a crowded market that already spans performers, presenters and comedians, while the Faithfuls have been rated 8/11 to beat the Traitors after last year’s result.
McNally at 6/1
6/1 is the shortest price in the field, and it places McNally ahead of James Blunt at 13/2, Bella Ramsey and Michael Sheen at 7/1, and Maya Jama at 8/1. William Hill’s early line has already turned the series into a market with a clear front-runner, even before the castle has sorted out who can hold their nerve.
8/11 is the other number that matters here. William Hill has made the Faithfuls the side to back against the Traitors at evens, a read that leans on the first Celebrity Traitors run, which the Traitors won last year under Alan Carr’s leadership. The market is effectively betting that the second series will not repeat the same outcome.
Phelps backs the comedians
William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said, “Season One of Celebrity Traitors proved that comedians thrive in the castle, and the early betting suggests it could be a similar story this season; we’ve installed Irish comic Joanne McNally as the early favourite at 6/1 to emerge victorious from Ardross Castle.”
That assessment also explains why several comedy and entertainment names sit near the top of the board. James Acaster, Joe Lycett and Julie Hesmondhalgh are all at 9/1, while Miranda Hart, Jerry Hall, Romesh Ranganathan and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are priced at 10/1. The market is not just naming a favourite; it is mapping how broad the competition is before a single move changes the shape of it.
Cast prices widen fast
12/1 is where the next cluster begins, with Rob Beckett and Ross Kemp both at that mark, followed by Richard E. Grant at 14/1 and Sebastian Croft at 16/1. Professor Hannah Fry sits at 18/1, while Myha'la, Sharon Rooney and Amol Rajan are all 20/1, and King Kenny is the longest price in the list at 25/1.
That spread leaves McNally as the market leader, but not by a runaway margin. Bella Ramsey, Michael Sheen and Maya Jama remain close enough for an early shift if the first episodes produce an obvious power player, yet the present read is simple: William Hill has chosen a comedian to head the board, and the rest of the field is chasing her from the start.
Ardross Castle market
8/11 for the Faithfuls adds a second layer to the betting picture, because it frames the team outcome as strongly as the individual winner market. With Alan Carr’s Traitors having taken the first series, the book is effectively pricing revenge into the new run before it has even begun to play out at Ardross Castle.
