Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys add six-date Livenation run
livenation has set a six-show Australia and New Zealand run for Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys, starting in Christchurch on Saturday 21 November and ending in Perth on Friday 4 December. The dates support Rise Against’s 2025 album Ricochet, their tenth studio release, which reached number 4 on the UK Rock and Metal Albums Chart.
Christchurch to Perth
The tour opens at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch before moving to Spark Arena in Auckland on Tuesday 24 November and John Cain Arena in Melbourne on Thursday 26 November. From there, the schedule shifts to Meltdown festival at the Entertainment Grounds in Gosford on Saturday 28 November, then Riverstage in Brisbane on Sunday 29 November.
Rise Against are bringing a full arena-and-festival route rather than a single-country lap, and that makes the itinerary more efficient for fans who want one ticket path across two markets. The support slot from Dropkick Murphys also gives the run a built-in double-header feel across the entire six-date stretch.
Ricochet and the support slot
Ricochet gives the band a current commercial anchor, with Catherine Marks behind the production on an album that extends Rise Against’s run to ten records and four Top 10 Billboard 200 albums. That kind of catalogue depth is what turns a touring announcement into a routing decision, because the band can move between new material and the older songs that still carry the room.
Dropkick Murphys arrive with 13 studio albums and more than 30 years of touring history, which makes them a logical companion for a package built around mid-size arenas and one festival stop. The pairing also widens the draw beyond a single fan base, especially on the Australian dates where the bill reaches Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.
Presales Before May 29
Mastercard cardholders in Australia get first access from Wednesday 27 May at 12pm AEST until Friday 29 May at 12pm AEST, while Westpac New Zealand customers with a Westpac New Zealand Mastercard have the same window. The Live Nation presale opens on Thursday 28 May at 12pm and runs until Friday 29 May at 12pm local time.
General on-sale begins at 1pm AEST on Friday 29 May, which leaves a narrow window between the presales and the public release. For readers planning a run at the harder-to-fill dates, the practical move is simple: line up the correct card or presale access before the clock hits noon, because the first chance arrives days before tickets go wide.
