Robyn Leads Portola 2026 Lineup as Danny Bell Sets May 28 Drop — Portola 2026 Lineup
The portola 2026 lineup landed on Thursday, May 28, and Robyn, Dog Blood and Swedish House Mafia are leading the bill. Portola’s return to San Francisco’s Pier 80 is set for September 26-27, with tickets available now.
Bell’s May 28 rollout
Danny Bell, Portola’s founder and Goldenvoice senior vp of talent, described the lineup build as a slow, deliberate process: "a lot of long nights and self-torture … I take my time, but I like having conversations and trying to understand everything going on with the artists each year." He added, "It’s not just that we work with these artists," and, "it’s how we collaborate on production and marketing or come up with creative ideas for additional plays."
That approach matches the way Portola has operated since launching in 2022. The festival has returned annually, and the 2026 edition again centers on Pier 80 rather than spreading the bill across a wider city footprint.
Robyn, Dog Blood, Swedish House Mafia
Robyn and Dog Blood both performed on the main stage on Saturday as part of the first night of the fest, while Swedish House Mafia headlined night two. Dog Blood brings Skrillex and Boys Noize back under one name, while Tiësto makes his Portola debut in the 2026 lineup.
The rest of the bill is built for breadth: Zara Larsson, Tove Lo, Ninajirachi, Four Tet, Soulwax, Kettama, Skepta, Mochakk, Mel C, Groove Armada, DJ Shadow, Channel Tres, Parcels, Fcukers, Brunello, Bassvictim, Prospa, Fatboy Slim and Despacio are all included. Four Tet played a live set, Mel C did a DJ set, and DJ Shadow’s appearance arrives during the 30-year anniversary of his 1996 LP Endtroducing…..
San Francisco gets the draw
San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie said Bell and his team are "bringing energy to San Francisco, drawing music fans from around the world and reminding people that our city remains a global destination for arts, culture and music. From Portola to major performances at the Moscone Center, Danny’s events are drawing people back downtown, supporting local businesses and revitalizing neighborhoods across San Francisco."
For buyers, the immediate move is simple: tickets are available now, and the two-night format gives the festival a clearer premium pitch than a sprawling multiweek announcement cycle. For Portola, the May 28 rollout locks in the names that will carry demand into the September 26-27 return.
