Jacob Wenske Charged Over Threats Against Erika Kirk
Jacob Wenske, 26, was charged after allegedly posting threats to bomb a Turning Point USA event and kill erika kirk ahead of the group’s June 5–7 Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio. Prosecutors filed a third-degree felony count of making a terroristic threat involving public fear of serious bodily injury or public disruption.

The threats were aimed at the Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk, an event expected to draw 2,500+ ladies. In a Facebook reply to a post promoting the summit, Wenske wrote, “I know exactly where to bomb,” and later posted, “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort,” authorities said.
Erika Kirk and TPUSA
In a subsequent email, Wenske wrote, “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event,” according to authorities. The case comes as Kirk leads TPUSA after the public assassination of her husband and co-founder, Charlie Kirk, at a TPUSA event in Utah last year.
A TPUSA spokesperson said all events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures enforced by private security and local police. The spokesperson also said the organization “refuse[s] to let threats silence us” and said it looks forward to a successful gathering in San Antonio for the summit attendees.
April Threats
The new charges also follow an earlier threat incident tied to Kirk. In April, she canceled a planned appearance at a TPUSA event at the University of Georgia after receiving what organizers described as very serious threats.
Wenske’s charge puts the focus on how prosecutors handle online threats aimed at a scheduled political event and its speakers. For people planning to attend the San Antonio summit, the immediate question is whether the added security described by TPUSA will be enough to keep the event on track for the June 5–7 gathering.
