Regal Theaters puts $1 family movies on weekday mornings through Aug. 13

Regal theaters is selling $1 family movie tickets on Monday through Thursday at 11 a.m. from June 1 through Aug. 13. The Summer Movie Express gives Triangle moviegoers a cheap weekday morning option at four local locations, with discounted kid’s snack packs also on the menu.

Four Triangle locations

Regal Cinemas in Brier Creek, North Hills, Cary and Garner are listed for the deal. That gives families a wider set of nearby choices than a single theater run, especially on summer mornings when weekday schedules are easier to line up than evening showtimes.

June 1 to Aug. 13

The run begins June 1 and ends Aug. 13, so the pricing window is set and short enough for parents to plan around camps, work hours and other summer commitments. The fixed 11 a.m. start time also keeps the offer in a narrow morning slot instead of spreading across the day.

Some of the films in the program include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Scoob! and Animal Farm. Regal also lists old school favorites such as The Sandlot and Muppet Treasure Island, giving the lineup enough range to cover younger viewers and adults who want something more familiar.

Regal’s summer offer sits inside a larger batch of Triangle-area movie deals, but its reach depends on a simple tradeoff: one-dollar tickets during a limited weekday morning window, plus snack discounts, at four named locations. For families looking for a low-cost outing, the practical move is to choose the nearest theater and plan for a 11 a.m. show while the program is still running.
