Auchinleck Talbot Tickets Move to Broadwood Matchday Sale
Tickets for the auchinleck talbot and Largs Thistle Scottish Junior Cup Final will now be sold on the day at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld. Supporters of both Ayrshire sides can buy them from 2pm on Sunday, May 31, with the final set for a 4.05pm kick-off.
Broadwood Stadium Sale
The change reverses an earlier plan to sell tickets in advance of the match. Instead, both sets of supporters will be able to buy from the Reception front door at Broadwood on matchday, with cash and card accepted.
Adult tickets cost £12, while OAPs and concessions pay £6. The final is officially being played as the 3 Pillars Financial Planning Scottish Communities Cup, and the late switch means arrival time now matters as much as the result itself.
Talbot And Thistle History
Talbot arrive with the stronger record in the competition, having won the cup on 14 previous occasions and last lifting it in 2022. Largs Thistle’s last success came at Ibrox Stadium in May 1994, when they beat Glenafton FC 1-0 and Pat McCurdy scored the winner.
That history gives Sunday’s final more edge than a routine ticket release. One club is chasing another title to add to a long run of wins; the other is trying to end a wait that has stretched back to May 1994, and the ticket sale change now puts the practical details in front of the football.
Sunday May 31 Access
Supporters heading to Broadwood now know the key details: buy on the day, arrive from 2pm, and expect the match to start at 4.05pm. With both clubs sharing the same access point, the updated plan puts every arriving fan on the same clock before the first whistle.
