Broadwood Opens Day-Of Sales for Largs Thistle Final
Largs Thistle supporters will be able to buy tickets on the day of the Scottish Junior Cup final at Broadwood Stadium. The change gives both sets of fans access from 2pm on Sunday, May 31, ahead of a 4.05pm kick-off in Cumbernauld.
Broadwood Stadium ticket window
Tickets for the final between Auchinleck Talbot and Largs Thistle had first been set to go on sale in advance, but they will now be available at the stadium on match day. Sales will be handled at the Reception front door at Broadwood, with cash and card both accepted.
Adult tickets cost £12. OAP and concession tickets are priced at £6, giving supporters a clear match-day option for a one-off final crowd at the venue officially hosting the 3 Pillars Financial Planning Scottish Communities Cup.
Talbot and Largs history
Auchinleck Talbot arrive with the stronger recent record in the competition. They have won the Scottish Junior Cup on 14 previous occasions and last lifted the trophy in 2022.
Largs Thistle are chasing a very different milestone. Their last cup win came at Ibrox Stadium in May 1994, when Pat McCurdy scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Glenafton FC.
May 31 at Broadwood
The ticket move matters because supporters now have a same-day route into the final rather than having to secure seats in advance. Anyone heading to Broadwood on Sunday will need to get there before the 4.05pm start if they want to use the on-site sale at 2pm.
For Largs Thistle, the day carries the memory of May 1994. For Talbot, it is another chance to add to a record that already stands at 14 Scottish Junior Cup wins.
