Ainsley Earhardt asks prayers for 10-year-old daughter in New York

Ainsley Earhardt asked people to pray for her 10-year-old daughter, Hayden, saying she hopes the child knows the Lord and is protected while growing up in New York City. The reporter and FOX & FRIENDS co-host made the request in remarks to ChurchLeaders, tying her parenting concerns to the way she talks about faith at home.

“Please pray that she knows the Lord,” Earhardt said. She added, “Please pray protection over her life because I’m raising her in New York City and I love her so much.”

Hayden and Earhardt

Earhardt said she has one big wish for Hayden: that she knows Jesus. She also said she never knew what real love was until her daughter was born, and described Hayden as “a gift from God created with a purpose.”

Her remarks also laid out how she tries to shape home life. Earhardt said she is strict with Hayden, but wants her home to be a happy place, one where her daughter wants to come back and where childhood memories feel fun.

America, I’m So Glad You Were Born

Earhardt said her love for her daughter and her country inspired her children’s book America, I’m So Glad You Were Born, which comes out on Tuesday, June 2. She said the book is primarily about democracy and the freedom to vote, and that it is important to teach children about voting in an elementary way.

Earhardt said, “Without America, where would we be?” She also said, “Men and women can vote in this country and we get to choose our elections…It’s very important for us to teach our children. And sometimes we can teach them like this book does, in a very elementary way.”

Earhardt wrote another children’s book in 2022, I’m So Glad You Were Born, which celebrates love and individuality. The new book extends that path, moving from family themes to the founding principles and freedoms she wants children to hear about early.

June 2

The book’s release gives Earhardt a second children’s title in three years, while her comments put her daughter at the center of how she talks about faith, parenting, and home. For readers, the immediate takeaway is simple: Earhardt is using a public interview to say her first concern is Hayden’s faith and safety, and her next book arrives on Tuesday, June 2.
