Former Bbc Host Police Questioning Follows May 14 Interview
A well-known former television presenter was interviewed under caution by Metropolitan Police detectives last month, in former host police questioning over allegations of historic sexual assault. The man denies the accusations and sources say he fully cooperated, attending at an arranged time and location.
The questioning centers on an alleged incident that reportedly took place on the London set of his programme between September 2005 and December 2006. Metropolitan Police officers interviewed a man under caution on Thursday, May 14, and no arrests have been made.

The Metropolitan Police said it is investigating a report of sexual assault against a woman in Stratford during the period between September 2005 and December 2006. The presenter had fronted a popular programme and was employed by an independent production company that made content for the at the time of the alleged offence.
Sources said the presenter “completely and utterly refutes” the allegation. The presenter also said “there's no case to answer.”
