Hyundai Expands FIFA World Cup 2026 Into Gaming — Fifa World Cup Standings

Hyundai Motor Company has extended fifa world cup standings into Rocket League and Fortnite through a collaboration with Epic Games. The move puts FIFA World Cup 2026-themed content inside two of gaming’s biggest live-service titles, with limited-time events running on separate schedules for each game.

Hyundai and Epic Games

The partnership gives Rocket League players access to the IONIQ 6 N Line vehicle item and a FIFA World Cup 2026-themed decal from June 11 to July 19. Progress will be tracked on a leaderboard, and rewards will be tied to the winning nation when the event ends.

Sungwon Jee, executive vice president and global chief marketing officer at Hyundai Motor Company, said, "The FIFA World Cup™ is where the world’s biggest football moments happen, while Rocket League and Fortnite bring together millions of gamers every day through competition and engagement." He added, "At Hyundai Motor, we have been continuously expanding our reach to next-generation audiences through gaming."

Rocket League Prize Track

Hyundai will also host the Next Starts Now Cup, presented by Hyundai, as part of its broader FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign. The Rocket League tournament will feature gaming influencers and professional players, and every match will use the IONIQ 6 N Line exclusively.

That setup gives the campaign a tighter competitive edge than a standard branded event. The leaderboard format, the nation-based rewards and the single-vehicle tournament rule all keep the focus on one product and one football theme instead of a broad promotional mix.

Fortnite Window Opens

Fortnite will get its own limited-time event from June 25 to July 19, with Hyundai Motor-branded in-game content. Hyundai said it is the only automotive brand taking part in the Rocket League and Fortnite limited-time events.

The company has backed the FIFA World Cup since 1999, a span of nearly 27 years, and said the campaign is called Next Starts Now. Through this collaboration, Jee said Hyundai looks forward to deepening its connection with fans worldwide at the intersection of mobility, sport, and gaming during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
