Barrie Air Show sets June 13-14 dates with Snowbirds lineup

The barrie air show will return June 13 and 14, 2026, over Kempenfelt Bay with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds in the lineup. Presented by Pratt Homes, the free, family-friendly event will stretch across downtown and the waterfront.

That schedule includes Saturday programming starting at 12 p.m., a twilight show around 6 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m., followed by Sunday airshow performances beginning at 1 p.m. The Snowbirds’ appearance comes during one of their last shows flying CT-114 Tutor jets.

Kempenfelt Bay schedule

Saturday opens with a performer meet-and-greet at Meridian Place, military displays, family activities and vendors throughout downtown and the waterfront. The Muskoka Extreme water ski show is set for 5 p.m. in front of Heritage Park, followed by the opening address and national anthem at 5:40 p.m. Two aerobatic acts will fly with pyrotechnics before the fireworks finale.

On Sunday, June 14, programming starts at 10 a.m. with waterfront activities and full-day airshow programming. The Muskoka Extreme water ski show begins at 12 p.m., the national anthem and opening address start at 12:40 p.m., and the air display begins at 1 p.m. The event keeps the focus on the bay, with both days built around public viewing along the waterfront.

Snowbirds and Tutor jets

The Snowbirds’ place on the 2026 Barrie Airshow roster is the main draw for many regular attendees. Their appearance will come during one of their last shows in the CT-114 Tutor, which gives this year’s program a narrower window than a standard airshow lineup.

Support for the event comes from Canadian Forces Base Borden, the County of Simcoe, Lake Simcoe Regional Airport and the Downtown Barrie BIA, with funding in part from the Government of Ontario. Air-show performances will depend on weather, safety requirements and aircraft readiness, and the detailed performance schedule will not be published in advance.
