trevor lines was found safe Saturday night in Goodlettsville after disappearing from a Nashville short-term rental while traveling to Bonnaroo. His family told WSMV that Lines was sitting in his car when police found him. Metro Nashville Police Department had asked for the public’s help locating the Indiana man and his white Lexus RX350, saying, “Anyone seeing Trevor Lines or his white Lexus RX350 with the Indiana Perdue University plate is asked to contact 615-862-8600 or their local law enforcement agency.”
Lines had been staying with friends at a short-term rental on Doulas Avenue in Nashville that week. Friends told police they left around 5 a.m. on June 11 to look for someone’s phone. When they returned, Lines and his 2016 white Lexus RX350 were gone, along with his phone and medication left inside the rental.

The Lexus carried Indiana plate INQC9104. License plate readers later picked it up in Mt. Juliet around 7:30 a.m. Friday and in Goodlettsville around 4:30 p.m. Friday. Metro Nashville police said license plate reader technology is not available in Nashville, so the search depended on agencies and readers outside the city.
Police also entered Lines into the national database as a missing person and notified the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Coffee County authorities to watch for him and the vehicle. That widened the search beyond the rental itself and into areas along the route between Nashville and Goodlettsville.

For the people who had been searching for him, the immediate question ended at RiverGate Skate Center. The search had turned from a missing-person report into a regional lookout for a 28-year-old Indiana man, his white Lexus, and the plate readers that tracked the car twice before police found him safe.
