Guillaume Lambert leaves La pièce qui tourne mal for Santa Claus

Guillaume Lambert said he will not return to La pièce qui tourne mal because he chose to make a film instead. In his social media post, guillaume lambert said he had to choose between two projects he cared deeply about and opted to focus entirely on cinema.

Guillaume Lambert and Santa Claus

Lambert wrote that he is making Santa Claus in one week and that the film will be released at Christmas. He described it as a Christmas film and said he was eager to say more, but could not yet.

The role of Dennis now goes to Stéphane Breton.

La pièce qui tourne mal tour

La pièce qui tourne mal is set to go back on the road for a new tour this summer. The production includes Fabien Cloutier, LeLouis Courchesne, Stéphane Breton, Pierre-François Legendre, Olivia Palacci, Rémi-Pierre Paquin, Julie Ringuette and Jonathan Roberge.

The play centers on a murder in a country manor and an inspector assigned to find the culprit. Lambert’s exit removes one cast member from that touring lineup just as the production prepares to resume, while Breton steps into the role Lambert had been playing.

The change leaves the stage production with a replacement already named and Lambert moving straight into a film schedule he says starts in one week. For audiences, the immediate shift is simple: the tour continues this summer without him, and Santa Claus is the project he has put first.
