Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris head Isle Of Wight Festival 2026

The isle of wight festival returns to Seaclose Park from June 18 to 21, with headliners The Cure, Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris leading the 2026 bill. Caroline Giddings said, “It might be our best line-up yet.”

Giddings also called it “my favourite so far, at least,” as the four-day run moves from last September’s first wave of names to the final weekend draw. For anyone planning the trip, the schedule now carries the same weight as the lineup: four days, three headline slots, and a forecast that stays workable through most of the event.

Giddings on the 2026 bill

“We’re proud to put the future of music and current stars on a bill alongside artists like The Cure and the Sex Pistols, who helped lay the foundation of pop culture,” Giddings said. That mix of legacy acts and current names is the clearest commercial argument for the festival’s booking strategy, and it helps explain why the full bill was spread across last September and the start of this year.

“The festival has always been an extension of the Isle of Wight’s rich cultural history,” she said. “From Lewis Carroll and Tennyson to Julia Margaret Cameron, the island has been a source of inspiration for artists through time.” The festival is leaning on that identity again while trying to sell a weekend that stretches beyond the three headliners.

Seaclose Park weather window

Thursday June 18 is forecast to bring sunny intervals and light winds, with the only likelihood of rain starting at 1am on Friday morning. Temperatures are expected to run from 14 to 20°C, which gives opening-day arrivals the calmest setup of the weekend.

Friday June 19 brings sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, with low chances of rain in the early morning and temperatures between 14 and 21°C. Saturday June 20 is the cleanest day on paper: sunny intervals, a gentle breeze and no rain predicted at any point, with temperatures of 15 to 21°C.

Sunday June 21 closes with sunny intervals, a gentle breeze and a low chance of showers in the evening hours, while temperatures are forecast to reach 15 to 22°C. The practical read for ticket holders is simple: the heaviest planning pressure is front-loaded on travel and arrival, not cancellation risk, and the weekend looks set up for people to stay through all four days.
