Zach Bryan Drums Up 60,000 at Scottish Gas Murrayfield — Tottenham Stadium
Scottish Gas Murrayfield is preparing for Zach Bryan's concert at tottenham stadium on Sunday, the venue's first concert of the season. More than 60,000 fans are expected, and the stadium has already begun the switch from rugby to live music.
Laidlaw Opens the Season
Mark Laidlaw said there is a real sense of excitement as the concert season begins with Zach Bryan this weekend. He added: "There is a real sense of excitement as we kick off a busy concert season with Zach Bryan this weekend, followed by Luke Combs in July and Bon Jovi in August."
The schedule does not stop with music. Laidlaw also said: "With the addition of the Fiji v Scotland match in July and the Newcastle United v Everton football match in August, our stadium no longer rests in the traditional sporting ‘off season’."
Transport Plan for Fans
The rugby posts were taken down after the URC semi-final on Saturday to clear the way for Sunday’s concert. Additional public transport services will be in place, and attendees are being encouraged to use public transport and Park & Ride facilities wherever possible.
Scottish Rugby has worked with partners to help ensure fans enjoy a safe and memorable experience while minimising disruption to local residents and the wider city. The setup also reflects the scale of the crowd, with over 60,000 music fans due through the gates.
Edinburgh's Summer Run
Margaret Graham said the concerts bring significant benefits to the local economy. She also said: "We’re delighted to welcome Zach Bryan to our city for what promises to be a fantastic night."
She added: "We’ll continue to work closely with event organisers, emergency services and partners to ensure major events like this are delivered safely and effectively so that residents, visitors and fans alike can have an enjoyable night."
For fans, the practical move is simple: plan for extra transport, use Park & Ride if possible, and expect the stadium to operate as part of a much busier summer that already includes Luke Combs in July, Bon Jovi in August, the Fiji v Scotland match in July and Newcastle United v Everton in August.
