Michael Harris II Exits Braves Game With Lower Back Tightness
Michael Harris II left the braves game with lower back tightness, and the Braves immediately shifted their outfield alignment around him. Eli White replaced Harris in the lineup, then moved to left field while Mauricio Dubón slid to center field.
Harris Leaves Braves Lineup
Harris had already reached base in the bottom of the first inning with a hit, and Dubón drove him in before the exit. That gave Atlanta production from the top of the order before the centerfielder came out, but it also forced a change in the middle of the game.
The move came after Harris had dealt with the same area for more than a week. He had to exit the first game of the Pirates series on June 5, sat out the second game, then returned as a pinch hitter in the series finale.
Atlanta's Injury Turn
The Braves have been working through a heavy injury stretch around him. Ronald Acuña Jr. went on the injured list last week with a left hamstring strain, and Spencer Strider went on the injured list on Monday after elbow inflammation.
Strider had exited Friday night’s series opener against the New York Mets, adding another high-level absence to a roster already dealing with recent damage. The timing leaves Atlanta managing another outfield adjustment while Harris is evaluated after leaving with lower back tightness.
For now, the practical shift is straightforward: White fills the opening Harris left, Dubón handles center, and the Braves have to keep moving pieces around until they know whether Harris can return to the lineup without another interruption.
