Kerry Kennedy Accuses Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of Pool Snake Incident
Kerry Kennedy said robert f. kennedy jr. released a snake into a swimming pool filled with children at a birthday party when one of her daughters was a child. She described the scene Monday on 's Erin Burnett OutFront and said the animal was then brought out in front of the children.
She said the snake was a “chomping” one, that she found it in her garden, and that she called her brother for help. Kerry Kennedy said he arrived with his infant son, Aidan, and a pillowcase, then stuffed the snake inside while holding the child.

Kerry Kennedy said the birthday party happened when one of her daughters, now nearly 30-years-old, was young. In her account, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. walked up to where the rest of the party was and pulled the snake out to show the kids, then put a vole into the bag with it.
She said children screamed because they feared the reptile would eat the rodent. Kerry Kennedy said the snake chomped on him a few more times before the group headed to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s own house.

The account arrived after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted a clip of himself grabbing two snakes from the patio of Mehmet Oz. He captioned the X post, “Cheryl cheerleads the removal of a pair of Black Racers from Dr Oz’s patio,” and Cheryl Hines can be heard telling him to be careful.
The Black Racer snakes appeared to repeatedly bite him in that video, which was filmed at the waterfront Florida home of Mehmet Oz. Kerry Kennedy said her brother has a fascination with nature, but described him as having a “lack of judgment when it comes to the safety and care of children.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has not commented on his sister's account. The new accusation adds a family member's firsthand description to a public record that already includes his own snake video, and it leaves his response, if any, as the next development readers would watch for.
