FDA Class II Recall Expands Aldi Macaroni Cheese Recall to 525,645 Packages
The aldi macaroni cheese recall now covers 525,645 individual packages after the FDA updated Park St. Deli Macaroni & Cheese to a Class II recall on June 10, 2026. BEF Foods, Inc. first announced the voluntary recall on March 23, 2026, and the product was sold in Aldi stores across the U.S.
The recall covers 58,405 cases of the refrigerated pasta dish, sold in 20-ounce plastic tubs. The FDA said the product may contain undeclared soy lecithin, an issue that matters most for people with soy allergies.
Park St. Deli and Aldi stores
BEF Foods, Inc.'s Park St. Deli Macaroni & Cheese is the product named in the recall. The FDA said the recalled product codes are printed on the outer sleeve of the packaging, which is the detail shoppers need to check before opening the tub.
The product reached Aldi stores nationwide, so the recall is not limited to one region. That means shoppers who bought the item anywhere in the U.S. need to compare what is in their refrigerator against the recalled codes.
FDA Class II recall
The FDA classifies a Class II recall as a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences, or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote. In this case, the agency tied that classification to the undeclared allergen risk.
The change from the original March recall to the June 10 classification update gives the case its current regulatory status. For consumers with soy allergies, the practical step is straightforward: do not eat the product.
What buyers should do
The FDA advised consumers to discard the macaroni and cheese or return it to a local Aldi for a refund. Shoppers who still have the package should check the outer sleeve for the listed codes, including SUL4839705, SUL4839706, SUL4853771, SUL4853772, SUL4854698, SUL4854700, SUL4854701, SUL4855698, SUL4855699, SUL4855700, SUL4857735, SUL4857736, SUL4857737, SUL4857784, SUL4857785, SUL4866750, SUL4866751, SUL4866752, SUL4866781, SUL4866782, SUL4866783, SUL4866784, SUL4872813, SUL4872814, SUL4872815, SUL4873787, SUL4873788, SUL4886739, SUL4886740, SUL4887698, and SUL4887699.
Anyone with a soy allergy has the most urgent reason to act first, but the recall applies to the full batch of 525,645 packages. The question for shoppers is whether the tub at home matches one of the recalled codes, and if it does, it should not stay in the fridge.
