Shereen Cutkelvin said "Oh, yeah. I still get nervous, actually! On the Friday of TRNSMT I definitely get those pre-show jitters, and then you get into it and you're like, "Oh, yes, I remember how to do this. This is good!"" and will transmit TRNSMT 2026 live from Glasgow Green across all three days.
Shereen Cutkelvin's Third Year
TRNSMT 2026 runs 19–21 June and Shereen Cutkelvin is fronting Scotland's coverage for a third year, broadcasting live from Glasgow Green across all three days; the festival line-up features Kasabian, Wolf Alice, Sonny Fodera and Lewis Capaldi. "Definitely Jacob Alon. I feel like they're just an incredible artist and any time I've managed to see them live, I’m absolutely blown away. So that's going to be incredible. And also Kasabian, I've never seen them live." Cutkelvin said when asked who she is most looking forward to seeing.

Lewis Capaldi headlines the Main Stage on Sunday night, and Scotland will run nightly festival highlights on the Scotland channel and Two while making full sets from the Main Stage and King Tut's Stage available on iPlayer for viewers across the UK. "Another fantastic year! Obviously, we've got the Scotland game on as well. I feel like the energy is going to be incredible and the crowd is going to be buzzing. I think the energy is just going to be elevated even more this year. A cracking line up. I can't wait to get out there!" Cutkelvin said about what viewers can expect from the coverage.
Scotland Channel and Two
Introducing is part of the on-site coverage and Cutkelvin framed her own route into festival broadcasting through that strand: " Introducing feels like home for me. I started off doing Introducing in Scotland. There are so many artists that are just incredibly talented waiting to be seen, Introducing gives them that platform." She also singled out the backstage access that comes with festival presenting: "Probably the interviews actually, when I'm getting to talk to artists backstage. That's always a nice moment to see who they are as people, how they deal with pre-show jitters or where they've recently been – they're usually just straight off a flight from another tour!"
Shereen Cutkelvin remains publicly conflicted about routine and adrenaline: despite returning for a third year as the festival presenter she says the pre-show nerves persist, a tension that underlines why continuity in fronting a live festival feed matters to producers who need someone with both platform familiarity and on-the-ground interview experience. Her starting point on Introducing in Scotland offers a straightforward personnel-history explanation for the continuity — internal platform experience plus prior festival work commonly leads to a repeated presenting role because it reduces rehearsal time and raises the reliability of live interviews.
Scotland's three-day coverage and iPlayer full-set streams mean UK viewers can follow TRNSMT 2026 in full without attending Glasgow Green.
