Kevin Singh was charged on June 23, 2026, after allegations that he stalked Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham. The case moved from online contact to criminal charges tied to a package at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Cunningham told law enforcement that the messages made her feel unsafe, brought nightmares, and pushed her to stay in her home more often. She said she never replied to Singh and has never met him.

Messages reached gainbridge fieldhouse

A probable cause affidavit says Singh sent numerous threatening and explicit messages through social media accounts, with the allegations going back to at least Sept. 30, 2025. One April 23, 2026 message said, “You're literally down the street from me!”

Security cameras also captured Singh walking into Gainbridge Fieldhouse in September 2025 and leaving a package with a security guard. He told the guard it was from his daughter and intended for a player, but the package was addressed to Sophie.

Cunningham described escalating fear

Cunningham said that when she first found out about the posts in February 2026, she thought he was “another guy posting nasty things.” She said the messages kept coming after that, and her sense of safety changed with them.

She said she was “always watching her back” and did not feel safe. That account matches the affidavit’s description of behavior that became increasingly threatening before team security contacted Singh.

Prosecutors seek tighter release

Inside the package, security found a Guns N' Roses T-shirt sprayed with cologne and a letter. The note said, “Your Metallica shirt gave me the idea to add GN’R to your collection; and I’ve tried everything else to get your attention (smile emoji).” It ended, “I hope you hit me up! Your Friend & Fan.”

Singh now faces stalking and intimidation, both felonies, plus harassment, a misdemeanor. Prosecutors are asking for a greater-than-standard bond, home detention, GPS monitoring, a seven-day hold without bond, and a ban from Gainbridge Fieldhouse while they also seek probation revocation in Hendricks County from his prior invasion-of-privacy case.

For Cunningham, the immediate issue is not the package alone. It is how repeated messages, a delivery at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and a prior probation case now sit together in one filing that asks the court to tighten Singh's freedom before the case moves further.
