Everton set Hamburg double-header with 5pm Losc Lille slot

Everton will take a men’s and women’s double-header to Hamburg on August 1, with LOSC Lille appearing in the schedule as the club continues its pre-season build-up. The fixture day gives Evertonians a clear travel target and puts both teams at Volksparkstadion on the same day.

David Moyes’ side will face Hamburger SV at 5pm local time, which is 4pm UK time. Everton Women will play HSV-Frauen earlier at the same venue, with kick-off set for 1.30pm local time, or 12.30pm UK time.

The setup is simple for supporters planning the day: one stadium, two matches, and separate kick-off times that keep the schedule moving from midday into the evening. Everton are using the Hamburg stop as part of preparations for the 2026/27 campaign, and the club has added it to a pre-season list that already includes Dens Park, Toughsheet Community Stadium, bet365 Stadium, MHP Arena and Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

Scott Phelan in Everton Women

Scott Phelan has been appointed on a permanent basis as interim boss of Everton Women, which gives the women’s side a fixed lead for the trip rather than a temporary one. His team still has more work to come before the Barclays Women’s Super League season, with further pre-season fixtures to be announced in due course.

That leaves the Hamburg double-header as only part of the wider picture for Everton Women. The club has set the date and opponent for this trip, but the rest of the summer programme will be filled in later, so supporters tracking the women’s schedule will need to wait for the remaining details.

July 31 in Hamburg

Travelling Evertonians can also attend a special evening event on Friday, July 31, delivered in collaboration with Bongo’s Bingo. The club says former Everton player appearances will be part of the night, turning the visit into more than just a matchday itinerary.

Live streams of pre-season fixtures will be available where rights and regulations allow, subject to availability and territorial restrictions. For supporters headed to Germany, the practical order is already clear: arrive for the Friday event, then split the Saturday between Everton Women at 1.30pm local time and the men’s side at 5pm local time.
