Hunter Goodman delivered a home run and three RBI on June 27, but the Rockies still came up short against the Twins. The 26-year-old finished 1-for-4 with one run scored, adding another productive line to a season that has kept him in the middle of the Rockies order.
Hunter Goodman’s.817 OPS
The game added to a run of steady production. Goodman has hits in 13 of his last 22 contests, and his latest effort pushed his season line to 22 home runs, 42 RBI, 49 runs scored and five stolen bases across 76 games.
Twins Hold Rockies Down
Even with Goodman driving in three runs, the Rockies did not turn that output into a win. That split between one bat producing and the club still losing is the sharpest read on the night: the individual line stood out, but it did not change the final result.
Chris Schommer’s update put Goodman among the more explosive bats in the Rockies lineup, and the numbers back that up. An.817 OPS with 22 home runs through 76 games gives the Rockies a middle-order force, but June 27 also showed the limits of a one-player push when the result still goes to the Twins.
