Jesper Ceesay has two bids on the table, and both are worth around one million euros. Antalyaspor is now negotiating with Al-Fateh and Portsmouth over a possible transfer, with the summer window open and the player’s next move under discussion.
Ceesay’s stock has risen quickly. He played 31 league matches for Antalyaspor last season, and those minutes have turned into overseas interest from two clubs operating in different leagues.
Al-Fateh and Portsmouth move
The offers come from Al-Fateh and Portsmouth, and each bid sits around one million euros, roughly cirka elva miljoner kronor. That gives Antalyaspor a direct comparison between two similar proposals rather than a single club trying to force the issue.
Portsmouth finished 18th in the Championship last season. Al-Fateh finished 11th in the Saudi Pro League last season. Those positions place the bids in different sporting settings, but the transfer question is the same: whether Antalyaspor will take one of them, push for better terms, or hold out longer.
Jesper Ceesay in Antalyaspor
He joined Antalyaspor from IFK Norrköping more than a year ago, and his spell there has already produced enough league appearances to draw attention abroad. The move now points back to the same practical issue that always decides deals of this kind: price, timing, and whether one bidder edges ahead of the other.
There is recent context behind the talks. In the winter, Bejing Guoan FC came close to buying Ceesay, but no agreement was reached. This time the bids are already in front of Antalyaspor, and that is the step that changes the picture from interest to active negotiation.
For Ceesay, the next phase is simple: either the clubs settle on a fee, or the talks stall and he stays where he is. For Antalyaspor, the choice is between two almost matching offers, with both Al-Fateh and Portsmouth now pressing their case for a player who logged 31 league matches last season.
