Arvid Lindblad unveils one-off helmet for Silverstone home race

Arvid Lindblad unveiled a special one-off helmet for his first home race at the British Grand Prix. The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls driver used it to mark a milestone at Silverstone, where he said so much of his journey began.

He said the story started when he was 5 years old. Lindblad added that he knew he wanted to become an F1 driver from the first moment he sat in a kart, and that the messages “Dream Big” and “My Path, My Way” reflect the vision he has carried since then.

Navinder Nangla and Silverstone

The helmet was created with Navinder Nangla, who added a series of hand-drawn illustrations. Nangla said it felt like a full-circle moment to create a piece of art that will race around Silverstone, and called it the fastest canvas he has ever worked on because it can be seen at over 200mph.

That collaboration also carried a shared personal thread. Nangla said the project felt especially personal because he and Lindblad share a similar British Indian heritage, and both have dyslexia. He said they have always seen dyslexia as a superpower rather than a setback.

Dream Big, My Path, My Way

Lindblad said the helmet truly represents his journey from karting to Formula One. He said working with Nangla was amazing to see, and pointed to the helmet as a way to tell that story at Silverstone in front of the place tied to the start of his career path.

The result is a one-off piece rather than a standard race design. For Lindblad, that means the first home Grand Prix is carrying a helmet built around his own origin story, with the words he chose, the artwork Nangla drew, and the path he says began at 5 years old all built into one race weekend.
