Houston Dynamo FC has mapped out the second half of its 2026 Major League Soccer regular season, starting with a home match against D.C. United on Wednesday, July 22 at Shell Energy Stadium.
The club announced the schedule on July 22, 2026, giving fans a look at several special-event nights across the rest of the season. Houston Dynamo Chief Marketing Officer Graham Wincott said the club created a second half of the season that offers something special for every fan.
What comes after the opener
The first date on the calendar is Wednesday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m., when Houston hosts D.C. United. Just three days later, on Saturday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m., Houston will play Austin FC for H-Town Night presented by College Ave.
The stretch continues on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 7:30 p.m. against the LA Galaxy for 2006 Championship Celebration Night presented by Ford. That event marks the 20th anniversary of Houston Dynamo's inaugural MLS Cup championship.
From there, the Dynamo will host the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. for Kick Cancer Night presented by UT MD Anderson. On Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m., Houston welcomes Real Salt Lake for Service Industry Night.
The final two theme nights on the announcement come late in the schedule. FC Cincinnati visits on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. for Noche Latina presented by Verizon, followed by Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. for Noche de México presented by Verizon.
