Prada will open Milan women’s fashion week on Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. CET, taking the first slot in the provisional Fashion News calendar. The week runs through Sept. 28 and includes 60 shows, six of them in digital format.

Moschino’s new creative directors, Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo, will make their debut during the week. Their first showing is part of the same provisional lineup, giving the season two early points of interest: Prada’s opening slot and Moschino’s new chapter.
Sept. 23 and Sept. 24
Sept. 23 brings Simone Bellotti’s new collection for Jil Sander and Maria Grazia Chiuri’s sophomore ready-to-wear line for Fendi. Etro will also stage its first show since the sudden exit of Marco De Vincenzo earlier in 2026, adding a changeover moment to the day’s schedule.
The calendar then moves into Sept. 24 with spring 2027 collections from Max Mara, Marni, Alberta Ferretti, Roberto Cavalli and Emporio Armani. That concentration of established names means the middle of the week carries as much weight as the opening day.
Gucci, Moschino and Ferrari
Demna will show his first collection for Gucci at 2 p.m. CET on Sept. 25 at an undisclosed location. Moschino will unveil its new vision under Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo that same day, while Tod’s opens the Sept. 25 schedule and The Attico closes it after Institution by Galib Gassanoff, Sportmax and Blumarine.
The week also includes Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, MSGM and Bottega Veneta on Saturday, plus Giorgio Armani at 11 a.m. CET on Sunday. Ferrari is the main complication in the schedule: it will present its spring 2027 collection in New York instead of Milan, leaving one marquee name off the local calendar.
CNMI and the provisional calendar
Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana will not hold the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards this edition and instead will host a gala dinner at Palazzo Reale on Sept. 23. The dinner coincides with the opening of the Dalí e la Moda exhibition at Palazzo Reale.
The schedule remains provisional, and the final version has not been released. For anyone following the week closely, the practical takeaway is simple: Prada owns the opening slot for now, but the rest of the calendar can still be adjusted before Sept. 22.
