Roma Roth Keeps Season 5 Moving

She also said, “I’m also delighted to welcome head writer Floyd Kane, whose talented storytelling will help shape the next chapter of Sullivan’s Crossing, as I continue to expand my brand and bring another beloved Robyn Carr book series to life.”
That matters because Roth created the series from Robyn Carr’s books and stays on as an executive producer alongside Christopher E. Perry, Aren Prupas, and Michela Di Mondo. The show also stars Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray, so the renewal preserves the core on-screen pairing while shifting the writing chair for the next run.
Netflix Exposure Lifted Season 4
Season 4 gave the series a wider audience on Netflix in the U.S. after launching there last summer with its first three seasons. The season then ranked at number 6 on the Netflix English series chart globally in its opening week and drew 3M views despite being available only in the U.S.
That performance came after the Season 4 finale aired on The CW on June 22 and Season 4 debuted on Netflix on June 30. The sequence gave the show a second life in streaming at the same time its broadcast run was still fresh enough to feed discovery.
Scott Patterson And The New Run
Season 4 was the first installment without original co-lead Scott Patterson, and there are no current plans for him to return in Season 5 in a significant way. Floyd Kane takes over as head writer after Roth stepped down from that role following the first four seasons.
