YouTube TV subscribers can now connect through the Sports section of the YouTube TV mobile app. After that Unlimited YouTube TV link is set up, Unlimited appears in the app for eligible accounts.

The new option sits inside Sports in YouTube TV settings, where users can toggle on Connect or the Connect Fantasy Football prompt. That path matters because it moves account access out of the TV interface and into a separate activation flow, with the app serving as the place where the subscription shows up.

When the prompt appears, users are sent to an activation page. They agree to the terms, sign in with an email and password, and then answer a prompt about sharing Fantasy data with YouTube TV. A return message sends them back to YouTube TV once the link is in place.

After activation, Unlimited is listed in the app as part of the subscription on mobile devices. The same connection also lets viewers track NFL fantasy scores in real time while watching games or related content on YouTube TV, so the setup serves both live sports streaming and fantasy tracking without forcing users to manage two unrelated sign-ins.
The unresolved point is whether every YouTube TV subscriber gets the same Unlimited access or whether any extra subscription step applies. The rollout arrives as a new NFL season approaches, when fantasy activity climbs and a small setup step can decide whether people use the feature at all.
