The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a mass shooting in Caswell County after shots were fired around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on Brooks Road in the Prospect Hill area. Several people were killed, and authorities have not released information about a possible suspect.
Investigators with the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Highway Patrol and State Bureau of Investigation were seen gathered in front of a home as the response continued. The names of those involved have not been released.

The shooting happened on Brooks Road in the Prospect Hill area, drawing a joint response from local and state authorities. The case is being handled by the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the State Bureau of Investigation.
