Sandals Resorts adds Jamaica Independence Day incentives for Canada

Sandals Resorts is marking Jamaica Independence Day with a month-long campaign for Canadian travel advisors that pairs increased booking incentives with a virtual event on Aug. 6. The offer runs on new six-night-or-longer bookings made by Aug. 31, 2026, and it is aimed at Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Caribbean Cay.

Aug. 6 livestream details

Travel advisors who register for the Jamaica Independence Day livestream will hear updates on the three reimagined resorts and learn about an exclusive consumer booking incentive. The event will also include an opportunity to win resort stays, giving advisors a direct sales tool tied to the campaign period.

Booking rules for advisors

For new bookings made through the Sandals Travel Advisor Portal or the Unique Vacations Canada reservations team, advisors can earn increased cash bonuses and bonus commission on qualifying six-night-or-longer stays. Sandals says the incentive applies only to bookings at Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Caribbean Cay, the last of which was formerly known as Sandals Royal Caribbean.

Limits on the offer

The promotion does not apply to contracted group bookings, loyalty and travel bookings, co-branded bookings or Military/First Responder bookings. That restriction narrows the pool of eligible sales even as the campaign is being used to push the three Jamaica properties ahead of their reopening later this year after a US$200 million transformation.

Marsha-Ann Donaldson, Sandals Resorts' director of weddings and romance, is listed among the featured participants in the Aug. 6 livestream. For advisors, the practical takeaway is simple: register for the event, book through the stated sales channels, and make sure the reservation falls inside the eligible booking window before Aug. 31, 2026.
