Multiple law enforcement officers responded to Warner Robins High School Wednesday afternoon after reports of a shooting on campus. The Houston County Sheriff's Office said officers were responding to those reports as the situation developed.
Roads closed near Warner Robins
The City of Warner Robins said roads surrounding the school were closed because of an active incident. Demon Valley Road and S. Davis Drive were among the closed roads, and motorists were urged to avoid the area unless they were following student pickup procedures provided by the Houston County Board of Education or law enforcement.
The City of Warner Robins also said it was assisting the Houston County School District and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office. That left the area around the school under a live response, with traffic rerouted while officers remained on scene.
