BOYLE Sports opened its first retail outlet in Scotland in Motherwell, and Gary McAllister cut the ribbon. Customers walked into a new local shop while BOYLE Sports added a first Scottish presence to a network that already spans the UK and Ireland.

Gary McAllister welcomed customers through the doors before taking part in a special in-store Q&A. He said Motherwell played an important role in his development as a young footballer, and he added: "I had really good, experienced coaches at Motherwell and guys who knew the game."
"They set the standards so high. Playing with those guys and being coached by those people gave me a great start in my career."
He began his senior career at Fir Park before going on to represent Leicester, Leeds, Coventry and Liverpool. That local link turned a shop opening into a personal return, not just a ribbon-cutting.

For customers in Motherwell, the practical change is immediate: a first local BOYLE Sports outlet is now open, with the company using the opening to push further into Scotland rather than treat the town as a one-off test. Sport NI signs three-year deal for 30 live Boyle Sports Premiership streams appeared alongside other BOYLE Sports news as the brand widened its footprint, but the Motherwell opening is the first retail step in Scotland.
