Rosario Dawson is back for Ahsoka season 2, and D23 gave the series its first new branding on August 14, 2026. The display introduced a brand-new logo with a bluish tint, a circular base, and the Star Wars: Ahsoka name locked into the familiar font.
That logo swap is the clearest sign yet that the season is moving from setup to rollout. Fans of Ahsoka also got close-up costume looks for Padawan Ahsoka, Ahsoka the White, Young Padawan Ahsoka, Sabine, Great Mother Klothow, and Grand Admiral Thrawn, which gave the presentation more than just a title-card refresh.
D23 shows the new branding
The first season used a different circle design, with Star Wars: Ahsoka set in all white against a black background. The second-season version changes the palette and the background treatment, and that is enough to make the reveal feel like a reset rather than a minor touch-up.
Dave Filoni is listed among the directors for the second season, alongside Jennifer Getzinger, Anders Engström, and Bryce Dallas Howard. With Hayden Christensen also returning, the series is keeping its core casting in place while presenting a cleaner, colder-looking identity for the next run.
Costumes and returning faces
The costume close-ups mattered because they gave a direct look at how the season is being packaged before it arrives. Ahsoka, Sabine, and the other character images were presented together, which is the sort of preview that lets viewers read the visual direction long before any full trailer lands.

Early 2027, November 2028
The release timing is where the story gets messy. The season is expected to drop around early 2027, but the same D23 report also says the news came with a release date set for November 2028.
For viewers, that leaves one clear takeaway: D23 gave the first visible season 2 update, but the actual return date still needs sorting out. Until that timeline is cleaned up, the logo and costume reveal are the most reliable markers of where Ahsoka season 2 stands now.
