UFC 330 takes place tonight in Philadelphia, PA, with a championship doubleheader and Islam Makhachev defending his welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry in the main event at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The matchup gives Makhachev his first defense of the welterweight belt and a chance to set the record for consecutive UFC victories. Garry, the #3-ranked contender, gets the biggest opportunity of his career against one of the promotion’s most accomplished champions.

What else is on the card?

The rest of the lineup gives UFC 330 some real depth. Mackenzie Dern won the vacant strawweight title at UFC 321, and that result adds another layer to the championship picture as the promotion builds around multiple title-level fights.

There is also movement on the main card and prelims. During UFC 330 fight week, Jalin Turner vs. Kauê Fernandes was promoted to the main card. Before UFC 330, Jose Ochoa was injured and Eduardo Chapolin stepped in on a few days’ notice. On the prelims, veteran fighters Neil Magny and Vicente Luque are scheduled to compete, and Luque is in his second fight since moving up to middleweight.

Weight and late changes

One of the key questions entering fight night is whether Islam Makhachev and Ian Machado Garry made weight before UFC 330. The available weigh-in note listed 129.5 lbs., but the broader card picture also reflects the usual late-week adjustments that can reshape an event. That has already happened once here, with the Ochoa injury leading to Eduardo Chapolin stepping in.

That combination of a title main event, a second championship fight on the card and a few veteran names underneath it gives UFC 330 a strong fight-night feel. The spotlight, though, is squarely on Makhachev, who can make history while trying to keep his title run moving forward.
