Kristen Goods traveled from New Jersey to Nevada after alisa goods vanished in Las Vegas, and she said the family has been checking hospitals and morgues. Alisa Goods, 63, was last seen on Aug. 8 while visiting a longtime friend.
Kristen said the search has widened beyond the last known sighting. "We have checked hospitals" and "We have checked morgues," she said, adding, "I’m extremely worried," as the family tried to follow every lead tied to her mother’s disappearance.
Roger John and Aug. 8
Goods had been staying with Roger John, a friend of about 20 years. John said she left his apartment around 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 8 to take a bus to a nearby CVS to go shopping.
"Last I saw her, she was going down the stairs. And I said, ‘OK, see you later,’ And that’s the last time I saw her," he told KLAS-TV. The family says she was later seen at a store near Paradise and Flamingo roads, where she bought supplements and water.
CVS video and messages
Kristen said she did not see the CVS surveillance video herself, but spoke with the store manager about the visit. "I did not see the CVS footage myself, but I was privy to some of the footage," she said. "By talking to the CVS manager that she was there."
Days after Goods disappeared, her family says text messages began arriving from her phone. The messages asked for gas money and Bitcoin, which left the family trying to sort out whether the phone had stayed with her or was being used by someone else after she went missing.
Alisa Goods report date
Goods was reported missing on Aug. 10, two days after she was last seen. The family’s checks of hospitals, morgues and the phone messages have become the main markers in a search that is still unresolved.
