Twitch TV is opening brand sponsorships to Twitch Affiliates worldwide, moving a revenue tool that was mainly reserved for Partners directly into the platform. The change gives eligible creators a new way to accept campaigns, but only after they complete Twitch’s required steps.
Creators can now discover offers, accept opportunities, complete campaign requirements and manage sponsorships from one central place through the Sponsorship Dashboard. Twitch also said creators must accept the terms in the Twitch Sponsorship Portal and complete Creator Sponsorship Certification before they become eligible, so access is broader than before but not automatic.
TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026 numbers
At TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026, Twitch said participation in Creator Sponsorships had already tripled compared with 2025. That growth followed recent campaigns including Minecraft Tiny Takeover and More Minecraft, More Challenges, where more than half of the participating paid streamers were Affiliates.
The scale matters because it shows this was not a side test. Twitch is turning a creator monetisation tool into a broader system for streamers of different sizes, with brand invitations now reaching a larger pool of accounts that can meet the platform’s conditions.
Wehype and Third Party Campaigns
Twitch is also partnering with Wehype to bring additional sponsorship offers directly into creators’ dashboards. Eligible creators can find those deals in Third Party Campaigns, including one of the first opportunities launching through the partnership: a campaign from EA for Battlefield.
That setup gives Affiliates more than a single path into sponsorships. It also means brand offers can surface alongside Twitch’s own tools, so creators can compare opportunities in one place instead of hunting for them across separate systems.
Creator Profile and Sponsorship Highlights
Twitch is adding ways for creators to present themselves to potential brand partners through Creator Profile. Creators can share details about their channel, content and sponsorship interests, and they can customize the clips shown in Sponsorship Highlights.
The practical constraint is simple: the broader sponsorship pool still depends on eligibility. Affiliates worldwide can now be invited, but Twitch says creators must complete the terms, the certification and the profile setup before those offers become available to them. For smaller streamers, the immediate next step is not just opening the dashboard — it is getting through the platform’s required gatekeeping so a brand can actually find them.
