The 2026 Minnesota State Fair has turned its food list into a route-planning exercise. New items are spread across the Fairgrounds, and the walk between them can be as much a part of the decision as the menu itself.

The scale is not small: the Fairgrounds cover 322 acres. That means a fairgoer chasing Cracklin’ Corn Ribs at The Blue Barn and Savory Waffle Cones at Roon’s Savories is not just choosing between dishes, but between stops that sit in different corners of the property.

West End to Judson

Minnesota State Fair 2026 New Foods adds 36 items, 9 vendors tracks a lineup that stretches from West End Market to Judson Avenue and beyond. Cracklin’ Corn Ribs at The Blue Barn are corn cob quarters dipped in tempura batter, fried, brushed with seasoned butter, and topped with bacon ranch, green onion, and candied jalapeños before landing on a bed of pork rinds. The Blue Barn sits at West End Market, south of History & Heritage Center.

Pickle Pie at LuLu’s Public House keeps the same West End pattern but shifts the flavor profile to chopped pickles, pickle juice, and cream cheese. LuLu’s Public House is at West End Market, south of Schilling Amphitheater. Two stops, one district, but the choices are different enough that visitors will likely build their food day around the neighborhood first and the item second.

West Dan Patch to Liggett

Bao Belly at RC’s BBQ pushes the lineup farther along the Fairgrounds. It is smoked barbecue pork belly drizzled with RC’s hot sauce and yum yum sauce, topped with pickled vegetables and cilantro, and served on folded, steamed bao buns. RC’s BBQ is on the north side of West Dan Patch Ave. between Liggett & Chambers streets, which makes it part of the fair’s eastern walk rather than a quick detour from the West End.

Longanisa Cheese Curd Lumpia at Lumpia City, French Chouxnut Sundae at Bridgeman’s, and Savory Waffle Cones at Roon’s Savories extend that same practical problem. Lumpia City is on the west side of Liggett Street between Carnes & Judson avenues, Bridgeman’s Ice Cream sits on the northeast corner of Judson Avenue & Liggett Street, and Roon’s Savories is on the west side of Liggett St. between Carnes & Judson avenues. A visitor can cover three vendors without leaving the same corridor, but each stop still demands a separate decision about where to spend time.

Coliseum to Heritage Center

Royal Hawawshi at Kosharina Egyptian Cuisine adds another layer near Grandstand, while Chorizo Manchego Croquettes at Paella Depot and Honey Brisket Battered Potatoes at Australian Battered Potatoes occupy the south side of Judson Ave. between Clough & Nelson streets and between Nelson & Underwood streets. Rooted & Wild by Snack House places Korean BBQ Bao Buns with The Vegan Chunk in the Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum, south side. That spread gives the 2026 lineup the feel of a walking tour, but one stretched across a property large enough to make the route itself part of the experience.

The practical read for fairgoers is simple: the 2026 Minnesota State Fair food run is not a single stop but a map. The listed vendors give enough structure to plan a loop, yet the distance between them means the first choice is often where to start, not what to eat.
