Ukraine air defense Patriot supply has increased slightly, with Ukraine recently receiving a small number of US-made Patriot interceptors capable of shooting down Russian ballistic missiles. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the delivery helped, but he still wants more.
Zelenskyy did not say how many interceptors arrived or who supplied them. He said this month that Ukraine needs 5% of US Patriot production to meet its needs, while Ukraine has only been receiving 1%.

“From 1% to 5%, I have some months and millions [of] phone calls and anything else,” Zelenskyy said this month. He added: “I do some things which I can’t even share.” “It doesn’t mean that it’s out of the law.” “But I can’t speak about it.”
The numbers point to a narrow supply line, not a full replenishment. Ukraine has received some Patriot interceptors, but Zelenskyy says the country is still getting only 1% of the US production it needs. That leaves the current delivery as a partial fill rather than a shift in capacity.
French Crotale supplies
Kyiv also got confirmation of future supplies of the French Crotale surface-to-air missile system. That gives Ukraine a second air-defense channel alongside Patriot, but the facts released so far only tie the new Patriot interceptors to a small batch and leave the source unnamed.
For Ukrainian air defenses, the immediate question is not whether more missiles are desirable; Zelenskyy has already answered that. The practical issue is whether the next Patriot deliveries move Ukraine any closer to the 5% level he says it needs, or whether the flow stays near the 1% mark while French Crotale supplies arrive later.
