Tim Curry Los Feliz home sale moved to a contingent offer just hours after news of his death was announced. The Los Feliz property had been restored by Curry over multiple years, then listed this summer for $7.5 million after several price cuts.
Tim Curry bought the Los Feliz home for $650,000 in 1993 and later spent years carefully restoring it before selling it in 2001 for $2.6 million. He described the result after an Architectural Digest shoot, saying, "It was the most beautiful and comfortable house I’d ever been to," after a trip to Ireland helped inspire the design.

The listing description says the home made its Architectural Digest debut in August 1924, two years after completion, and returned in 1998 to document Curry's restoration of the original details. Those details included exposed wood-beam ceilings, hand-painted surfaces, stained-glass windows, iridescent copper, and vintage tile.
Ben Belack of Serhant had the listing on the four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom property, which was most recently marketed in July 2025 for just under $10 million before the ask was lowered to $7.5 million on Aug. 6. Records were then updated to show the house under contingent offer, a status that means the sale can move forward only if the stated conditions are met.

The property later passed through the hands of Robert Pattinson, Noah Wyle, Jim Parsons, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Aaron Paul. Paul worked with Commune Design on a 2019 renovation, extending the house's long run of Hollywood ownership while keeping its century of character intact.
The unresolved part is simple: the contingent offer is not a finished sale, and the transaction still depends on whatever conditions sit inside the agreement. For buyers and sellers, the immediate change is the shift from active listing to a deal that can close only if those terms are satisfied.
