The wording drew immediate scrutiny from Georgetown's TPUSA chapter, which said members believe the line "pull up to Copley Lawn and speak the truth while the cost is high" is likely a mocking statement. Posts on Fizz also discussed an Erika Kirk look-alike contest. One commenter wrote, "Can the winner of the Charlie Kirk one be prom king with the winner of this?" Another user asked, "Any chance Gtown Chimes could learn this before Thursday?" in a separate post that referred to a Charlie Kirk meme song called "We Are Charlie Kirk."
