Marc Benioff unveiled AIforce at Dreamforce as a live interface layer for Salesforce. The system brings Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, semantics, permissions, security, and governance to any AI interface.
For employees and agents, that means asking questions, updating records, and triggering workflows without staying inside Salesforce’s own UI.
Benioff Calls It An Interface Revolution
Benioff said, "AI is creating an interface revolution," and described AIforce as "an intelligent, dynamic, composable system that is securely governed, built with Zero Data Retention, and designed to work with the core systems that already run your business."
Salesforce is presenting that system as part of its Agentic Enterprise architecture. In practice, that moves the company’s control plane into outside interfaces while keeping the business logic and permissions tied back to Salesforce.
Claude, Slack, Lightning, Coworker
AIforce is intended to let people and agents work in Claude, Slack, Lightning, or other tools. Salesforce also says anyone can build composable, intelligent, live interfaces by describing them inside Claude, Slack, and Coworker.
That is the practical break from Before AIforce, when most people had to open the app and work through its UI. The new setup tries to push Salesforce into the tools people already use, but it also asks them to trust outside interfaces to carry governed business actions.
Trailblazers And The Scale Problem
Salesforce tied the launch to Trailblazers at Dreamforce and said they are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. The company said Trailblazers have built 12 million apps, drive 9.6 billion API calls every day, produced 156 million lines of AI-generated code, and earned more than 151 million badges on Trailhead.
Those numbers show why AIforce is more than a chat feature. They point to a large base of builders and power users who already move work through Salesforce systems at scale.
Salesforce did not give a rollout date or availability details for AIforce in the named interfaces. That leaves the immediate question on access, not ambition: when people will actually be able to use it in Claude, Slack, Lightning, or Coworker.
