A man in his 20s was arrested after a bus driver was allegedly assaulted in Madeley, Telford, on Friday at about 18.35 BST and the vehicle was then driven into several vehicles. Officers stopped the bus and held the suspect after the incident spread along Park Way towards the High Street.
The driver was ejected from the bus during the assault and later treated by paramedics for minor injuries. West Merica Police said no-one else was believed to have been hurt, while the man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and dangerous driving.
