Simone Biles says she plans to officially move to Indianapolis a little bit later, a relocation tied to her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens. The 30-year-old gymnast said in early September that she has been in Houston most of the time, but will make the move after spending more time around Owens and the Colts.
Biles has already been a regular presence at Colts home games since Owens signed with the team, and the move would place her closer to the day-to-day rhythm of his football life. In that sense, the decision is less about a change in cities for its own sake and more about supporting a family situation built around Owens' career.
What Biles said about Indianapolis
Biles also shared her impression of Lucas Oil Stadium, saying she has not experienced too much there yet, but describing the stadium as stunning and beautiful. She added that she is excited to watch her husband play, and said what matters most is that Owens is safe, healthy and having fun. As she put it, the game itself is secondary to his well-being.
The move also fits the broader timing of the couple's life together. Planning for the Texas home started in 2020, ground was broken in 2022, and the home was completed in November 2025. That means the couple will still have a home in Texas to return to when Owens' time with the Colts ends.
For now, the relocation is another sign of how closely Biles and Owens' schedules are connected. Indianapolis has become part of their routine, and Biles' plan to move there later makes that link even clearer.
