Bridget Maeve Zeigler, a 2-year-old girl, went missing Thursday evening in Cumberland County, Virginia, and a search started after she was last seen at 6 p.m. She was described as about 2 feet tall and 30 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Virginia State Police issued a CODI alert at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday on behalf of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. Cumberland County Public Schools also asked community members to contact authorities with any information about her whereabouts.
What police said
She was last seen wearing an orange dress, a blue coat and white tennis shoes. Police said Bridget Maeve Zeigler was believed to be on foot, even though the area where she was last seen appears to be heavily forested.
