Taylor won the Big Brother vote for Part 1 of the final Head of Household competition on Big Brother 28 after Dee Valladares was evicted on Friday, September 25th. The result puts Taylor in Part Three and keeps the season’s finish open heading into the Big Brother 28 finale on October 1st.
Part 1 came after the Houseguests began the Final Head of Household competition on Friday, September 25th, once Dee was sent to the jury house. Taylor’s win is the only direct path into Part Three, so the outcome already narrowed the endgame to one player with momentum and two more rounds still to settle.
Dee Valladares leaves the board
Friday, September 25th changed the structure of the game twice: Dee Valladares was evicted, and the Final Head of Household competition started immediately after. That sequence matters because it moved the season from jury management into the last competition phase, where every result now feeds the final vote rather than the weekly eviction cycle.
Yash Patel said he “respected Drew's gameplay,” and he did not arrive in the jury house nearly as bitter as he was on eviction night. Lala Verrett is pushing hard for Rick Devens to get votes, and she would push for Drew as well if he ends up in the Final Two chair instead. Those comments show the vote is still fluid, but they also show where several jury relationships are already leaning.
Taylor's Part Three path
Taylor was mostly known for “sleeping in her pod,” which makes the Part 1 win the first real leverage point attached to her name. She still has to get through Part Three, and the finale will decide whether the move translates into the last vote that counts.
At least three people who would vote for Taylor will not go her way. Melody Morris does not seem like she would turn on Drew, Barrett Pfeiffer does not seem like she would turn on Drew, and Angela Murray will vote in lockstep with Dee and Devens or Drew, who would not vote Taylor over each other. That leaves Taylor with a narrow route: win the Final Two HOH, then evict Devens so she can argue she was responsible for taking out both Icons in some way.
October 1 and the last vote
October 1 is the date that turns Taylor’s Part 1 win into a real test. The finish now depends on whether she can carry that advantage through Part Three and into a jury count that already looks difficult, even after the first round went her way.
Whether Taylor can win Part 3 and earn the jury votes needed to win Big Brother 28 is still the story left on the table, and that is the only part that matters now.
