Leigh-Anne traitors moves into a new phase with Clickbait and a longer version of My Ego Told Me To. The new single arrives alongside My Ego Told Me To…Do A Fan Edition, due October 30 via MadeInThe90s, giving listeners seven additional songs and two brand-new tracks.
UK Top 3 return
My Ego Told Me To debuted at number 1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart and at number 3 on the UK Official Albums Chart, putting the debut album into UK Top 3 territory on release. That is the baseline this rollout is now building from: a first album cycle that already crossed from independent momentum into the main chart frame.
Leigh-Anne said, “Since releasing My Ego Told Me To, I've spent a lot of time reflecting on the journey of this album, what it means to me and where I want to take my music next.” She added, “The love you've shown this project has been so special and I don't take a single bit of it for granted.”
Clickbait and the clapback
Clickbait was written after a studio session with Trey Campbell, M-Phazes and Bava, and Leigh-Anne described it as a direct response to outside commentary. “This record is a reflection of exactly how I felt the day I walked into the studio with Trey Campbell, M-Phazes and Bava,” she said. “I was tired, heavy and honestly just bogged down by everyone's opinions and the feeling that, online, everybody seems to have something to say about you.”
She made the intent even clearer: “So CLICKBAIT is my little clapback to the trolls that always have so much to say.” That leaves the single doing two jobs at once — setting a sharper tone for the next phase while keeping the album cycle active instead of letting it sit on its original tracklist.
MadeInThe90s on October 30
My Ego Told Me To…Do A Fan Edition keeps all 15 original tracks from My Ego Told Me To and adds seven more songs, including Clickbait, Bora Bora, Friends, Dead and Gone Part II featuring Kojey Radical, Ego Suicide, Home and Been A Minute Acoustic. Leigh-Anne said, “This Fan Edition brings together the tracks you've been asking for, all in one place, as a little thank you for the love you've poured into this album along with two new tracks!”
The release strategy is straightforward: one new single for the immediate push, then a fuller package on October 30 that extends the album without changing its core. For listeners following the era, the practical takeaway is simple — the next version of the project is already dated, and the added songs give this cycle a second commercial pass before the page turns.
“So before we turn the page, I wanted to give you a little more of My Ego Told Me To to hold onto,” Leigh-Anne said. The unanswered piece is whether the fan edition stops at the listed seven additions or leaves room for anything else in the rollout, but the core offer is already set: more songs, a fixed date, and a single that makes the message sharper than the title alone.
