Sam Fender tickets for the 2027 stadium run are being changed after the singer-songwriter said he was not happy with the reported prices. He called the figures “inflated” after apparent pricing for the Proper Massive Stadium Tour circulated online.

Fender said, “I’m not happy with these prices, they’re getting changed.” He added, “It got inflated well more than I’d had in mind, it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on.” The reported prices included £98.60 for standing in Newcastle, seating from £86.50 to £112.90 there, and front-standing at Wembley at £130.75.

Newcastle and Wembley pricing

The tour begins with two homecoming concerts at St James' Park in Newcastle on June 3 and June 5, then moves on to Cardiff, London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester. Reported front-standing at Wembley was listed at £130.75, with general-standing at £98.85 and seating from £64.75 to £130.75. Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester were reportedly being separated into two standing sections, with the front area at every venue listed at around £120 to £130.

Gavin Davis posted the apparent prices on Instagram, and the reaction was immediate because the tour was still months away from on-sale. General sale had been set for 9:30am GMT on October 30, while the pre-sale was due at 9:30am GMT on October 28 for fans who pre-order Fender’s yet-to-be-announced fourth album before 9am GMT on October 26.

Standing split dropped

Fender also rejected the split-standing plan outright. “The standing will not be split as well, I had no idea about it,” he said. He added, “I have no idea how this was normalised in gigs. It’s bollocks and it won’t be happening on this tour.”

The updated pricing has not yet been published, so anyone lining up for the Proper Massive Stadium Tour still has a moving target rather than a finished sale sheet. That leaves the next price list, not the first leak, as the version buyers will need to watch.

UK and Ireland 2027

The wider route includes Wonderhorse support, plus a schedule that stretches from Newcastle to Wembley and on to Marlay Park, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium and the Etihad Stadium. Fender’s pushback also fits a longer-running line from him on ticketing: last November he was among the major artists urging the UK government to uphold its previous pledge to cap secondary ticket prices, and he has used a £1 ticket levy on a previous arena tour to support 38 grassroots music venues across the UK.

For buyers, the practical move is simple: ignore the leaked figures as final pricing and wait for the revised sale details before deciding on standing, seating or pre-sale access. Fender has already forced the issue; the next version of the tour price list is the one that counts.
