Epic Records put Coi Leray on another holiday release on Friday, Oct. 30. Epic Presents: Holiday Radio arrived as a 14-track compilation built from the label’s roster, and it gives Leray another seasonal credit after earlier holiday recordings.
Epic Presents: Holiday Radio
The compilation brings together GIVĒON, Mariah the Scientist, Coi Leray, Lucky Daye, BIA, Meghan Trainor, and Mimi Webb. That lineup makes the project more than a one-off playlist: it is a label-driven release designed to package several artists under one seasonal title, with all 14 tracks assigned to a single holiday frame.
Epic Records had already used the same lane before. In 2014, the label released I'll Be Home For Christmas, a seven-song EP curated by L.A. Reid, so Holiday Radio extends a holiday strategy that has been part of the company’s catalog for years rather than a one-time experiment.
Coi Leray’s Holiday Record
Leray is not new to this corner of her catalog. She joined Dess Dior and Maliibu Miitch on Merry Xmas in 2020, then revisited TWINNEM with a holiday version featuring a gospel choir in 2021. Those releases give her a small but clear seasonal paper trail before this new compilation credit landed.
That history matters because the collection spans R&B, rap, and pop, but the release does not say which song Leray contributes. The same holds for the rest of the track list: the project signals breadth, yet it stops short of mapping every artist to a specific track, leaving the compilation’s structure more visible than its exact assignments.
Holiday Credits Before 2022
GIVĒON’s holiday work shows how the label is building around artists who already have seasonal material in circulation. He recorded O Christmas Tree for Apple Music in 2020, then later recorded The First Noel, which first appeared as an Amazon Music exclusive a couple of years later. Mariah the Scientist also arrived with prior holiday experience after releasing Christmas In Toronto in December 2022.
Epic’s move is straightforward: it is selling a roster-wide holiday package and using artists who already have proof of concept in the season. The unanswered piece is the simplest one, and the one listeners will look for first: which track on Epic Presents: Holiday Radio is Coi Leray’s contribution?
