The Dancing with the Stars cast narrowed again when Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson were sent home in a double elimination after a week with no cut. The field keeps shrinking in season 35, and every round now carries more weight for the remaining couples chasing the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
Tyler Cameron’s 32 points
Tyler Cameron tied for the lowest judges’ scores with 32 points on Dedication Night before the double elimination hit. He shared that mark with Connor Wood, Jackson Olson and Tatyana Ali, which left the bottom of the leaderboard crowded even before viewers’ votes came into play.
Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov led Dedication Night with 38 points, the highest total of the evening. That six-point gap was small on paper, but in a competition where judges’ scores and viewer votes both shape the result, it separated the top of the night from the bottom line fast.
Three exits in season 35
The double elimination added to an already steady run of departures across Dancing with the Stars season 35. Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman were eliminated on Sept. 15 after a salsa to Whoomp! (There It Is) by Tag Team, and Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills went out on Sept. 16 after a jive to Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne.
Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten were eliminated on Sept. 22 after a salsa to Bella Ciao by Becky G, then Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart exited on Sept. 29 after a foxtrot to What a Fool Believes by the Doobie Brothers. By the time Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson were eliminated, the competition had already shed multiple couples and the margin for error had thinned sharply.
A week with no cut
No couples were eliminated during Dedication Night, which made the next episode’s double elimination more abrupt. The show moved from a no-cut week to sending home Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess, then Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, a pace shift that kept the season moving while the remaining couples had to absorb a harsher math.
After 11 remaining couples performed routines inspired by halftime shows, Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson were eliminated, and after 12 remaining couples danced to Mariah Carey songs, Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong were eliminated. That sequence shows how quickly the bracket can tighten when the show starts stacking exits instead of spacing them out.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and streams on Disney+, with episodes available the next day on Hulu. For the remaining couples, the next problem is simple: every week now decides whether they stay in the race or join the list of eliminations already stacked against them.
